Long day. Up at 3am, worked at 4, church was great! Had the message I prayed it would have (He is funny like that, eh? :D)
Found myself missing World of Warcraft today again. I miss playing my warlock... :{
I literally payed and NEVER, NEVER, NEVER missed a subscription for FOUR YEARS. Oh, and I played at LEAST ten minutes every day. Even just checking my mail or saying "hi" to guildies. I am 100% done with the game, now (much better things to do with my time), but sometimes it's tough to look back, lol, like some starcrossed lover bahahaha. "The one that got away!" I hated Mists of Pandaria and it just felt like a crapload of dailies and a whole lot of "let's make everything unappealingly easy." I played on a private WotLK server for 2 months back in December and it was literally the best time I had playing the game since...well...Wrath of the Lich King.
Cataclysm's new quest system was WAY to linear. Also, easy.
MoP is just quests. SO MANY QUESTS and too many achieves.
Bah, but I rant. :P
Just happy to be free of the tyranny, and I feel like this now, only instead of activities, it's my time.

May 18, 2013!
Man. I am BEAT. There's a small town nearby me, and every year, the town has a "city wide rummage sale." Every Tom, Dick, and Harry puts out their garage sale signs and sells...I parked on one side of town and visited probably 75 sales...I made off like a bandit, however:
A massive (4" thick) old dictionary
about 6 novels
12 cds
a bookcase
a $5 copy of Resident Evil 4 for Wii
and some other stuff
I walked about 4 miles, in all, haha. Now, I'm going to write a bit, have some ale, maybe some wine, and relax, because carrying a 15 (no joke) pound...yes 15 pound...dictionary and about 5 pounds of paperbacks for miles and miles while having to pee SO BAD is exhausting lmbo.

Work's been crazy busy lately. My hours shot way up.
Aside from work, there's been class, too - never taken a spring college course before, and despite it being a PE class, MAN. The hyper condensed spring classes move fast! Also, my fiance has started jogging with me, which is nice - I love jogging and running, but it can be so droll sometimes. It's always lovely to have someone with you! :]
I'm going to start whipping up a "video game" blog, too. I think I'll review classic games prior to the newest gen systems - PS2 & X, Gamecube, N64 (my favorite :D), etc. I have a NES, SNES, 64, Gamecube, PSX, PS2...you name it, and I have it...except PS3 and Xbox.
I just ordered the first two games to review - Jak II and Jak III. I loved them when I was younger. Golly, they were spectacular games. I also will be reviewing the first three installments of Ratchet and Clank, which were equally wonderful. Not to mention my enormous N64 cartridge collection (35+ games, and growing).
But, as of now, I'm writing a bit.
My fiancee and I finished Game of Thrones season II, and now we're antsy to have season III on dvd. Gah! It's months from our grasp, too! >:( I started the first novel of the series, too, and I can really tell that they kept GRRM on close hand while shooting the show...it follows the books almost to a T, really. The only qualms I have are these: why, HBO, why do you feel it necessary to add so much superfluous swearing and nudity? Does it add more flavour? Nay! Does it give the characters more texture? Nope! It does nothing! I understand it if you're following the books, but the books (thusfar, anyways) don't really have much cursing or mentions of nudity. At all. Swears don't add to the anger of people talking. It doesn't give any extra allusion to their frustrations. It is just an extra word or two.
Now, I love "A Game of Thrones," the book, thusfar. Really, it's hard to put down, most times, and the small chapters make it extra "oh, I'll read one more..." haha. But when I DO end up in those awkward moments of swears and sex, it feels...well...awkward! I love the fantasy genre, really I do, but these additions just feel...unnecessary, for lack of a better word. I completely understand Mr. Martin's wanting to make the books feel less like fantasy and more like real history, and of course sex happened and people swore, but Tolkien never once utilized the F word. He never made paragraphs about bouncing bosoms, fingering, or anything like that. He just wrote the genre. I have the utmost respect for published authors, and all the more for GRRM, as I bought and am reading his works, and maybe I'm just an old fashioned bugger, but it all feels out of place to me. But, then, his books are best sellers and I'm just one person! :P Regardless...it IS a phenomenal read, and I'm more upset with the show and HBO adding hundreds of F bombs, C words, etc.
But, I better get back to MY writing now! :P

Got the new H.I.M. album - say what you will, but I've followed them (GET IT! HAH) for over a decade. Their last album (Screamworks) was an atrocious piece of rubbish that you can really see they had a poppy producer...ugh it was disgraceful. And Venus Doom was sort of a turd, too. I really like Razoreblade Romance and DS&BH the best. Anyways. The new album was really good (overall - a couple bombs, but), and it echoes the best of their old fashioned works, but their $$ also shows, making the album feel well polished. I know it isn't really that metal, but I'll review it soon after I really go through it thoroughly.
Life is good, at the moment. Erin and I are fast approaching the "big day..." we changed our wedding day to Aug. 17 now! Also threw together an utterly gnardog medieval feast for the dinner after - we're having such a small guest list (about 15) that we're totally just having a big dinner. Wine. Ale. Mutton. you name it. It's a danged medieval feast.
Anyway.
Writing is coming along nicely. Started chapter II of the second book of the first novel - 2 books per novel.
ALSO. Got a Lampe Berger from my mother as a gift. What a bloody great way to perfume your home! :D
But I am going to look at books soon, here.

Just spent 3 days with one of my cousins (there are 4 of us). We're all closer to being brothers than just cousins - raised together, always with each other.
It was fun; we went to Houghton, an Upper Michigan college town, home to Mich. Tech University, and Finlandia University (The ONLY Finnish college in the USA! KIPPIS!), but we hit all the bars there to see what they were like.
I have to go for now, but back to normality today - he had to head back to Lower Michigan.

Another typical day.
Got a little writing to do this afternoon - starting the twelfth chapter of my novel I'm working on...lots of editing to go back and do for the first 218 pages. It feels quite tedious, but I love it! :P
My fiancee and I are going to the jewelry place later - she needs to make a payment on her wedding ring...the "big day" is coming fast! :O Still hard to believe we've been together 6 danged years...whoa!
Going to read a bit this afternoon...tea...Tolkien...maybe some wine (merlot, pl0x). Reading through the "Lost Tales, Book I" as of now, and like the Silmarillion, I often find myself sighing with boredom one moment as I dredge through Christopher's notes and then the next moment I'm fixated on what's going on because it suddenly became interesting! I can't wait until I get through the first five or so books of the Middle Earth series so I can get to the Third Age.
